Edith Eger is an eminent psychologist and one of the few remaining Holocaust survivors old enough to remember life in the camps. “Even in hell, hope can flower”. I read “The Gift” in two days and was so captured I immediately bought “The Choice” which was also devoured in two days. I do not think I have ever had books with so many notes and dog ears to highlight the words of wisdom that I wanted to remember.
